Review of fb lock::Is there a num lock key on the hp g6 keyboard?I do not ...
Considering the Browns have had both a 4-3 and 3-4 I'm going with a 4-4 Here's how it plays out. QB '" Colt McCoy - I understand that he has only won 2 games. I know that he has thrown his fair share of picks, but with the QB carousel that is the Cleveland Browns, he has shown poise. He has faced the toughest defenses in the league, and has gained respect from his locker room. He's been there before, starting at QB as a freshman at Texas. He can take control of the game and has beaten two recent Superbowl winners. Honorable Mention '" Tim Couch RB '" Jamal Lewis - Now, before you make a case for Hillis, let me tell you why the old man was more dramatic. Hillis was an unknown runner at the beginning of the 2010 season, not the marked man that Lewis was. Lewis was cut because he was considered to old to play. He produced two consecutive 1,000 yard seasons for the Browns and was a 2,000 yard rusher for the Ravens. Honorable Mention '" Jerome Harrison FB '" Lawrence Vickers - This is a no brainer. He is the most underrated FB in the league. Other than the fact that all he does is block for talented rushers (Hillis, Harrison, and Lewis), he is the most unselfish player in the league. Unfortunately, we may be saying goodbye to this Browns star due to Free Agency. WR '" Braylon Edwards - I don't want to say too much about this poor-character receiver, but lets face it, he put up the numbers. He had bad hands but made the big plays, and we wouldn't have gone 10-6 in 2007 without him. WR '" Joe Jurevicius - On the other hand, we have the opposite of Edwards. Joe grew up in Cleveland; he still lives here, and knows the pain of being a Browns fan. A big reason we did so well in 2007 was because of his big 3rd down conversions. He wasn't flashy; he didn't make noise in the media, he just went out and caught balls. He was one of the most sure handed receivers in Browns history, and was a true gentleman. Honorable Mention '" Dennis Northcutt. TE '" Ben Watson - Sure, Kellen Winslow Jr. was great, as a receiver. Watson can block and catch. He is the complete package, and as the Browns second leading receiver (behind Hillis), he is the man that will catch the ball underneath. He has sure hands and is not afraid to pick up the blitzing defensive man. Honorable Mention '" Evan Moore. LT '" Joe Thomas - Other than the fact that he has been to 4 straight Probowls, he hasn't missed a snap. Easily the best browns lineman in decades. LG '" Eric Steinbach - Has to live up to the hype of Thomas, but he gets the job done and the left side of the line doesn't give up many sacks. He is a solid guard. C '" Alex Mack - Went to the Probowl in 2010 due to replacing Pittsburgh's Pouncy, and even had a TD in the game. Very reliable center, and gets the job done. Honorable Mention '" Jeff Faine RG '" Cosey Coleman - At this position, (Insert name here), hasn't really done too well, one of the reasons Cleveland QB's are always on their backs. RT '" Ryan Tucker - Very talented, but never lived up to his potential, off the field issues ruined his career DE '" Orpheus Roye - Played both DE and DT. Played for the Browns for the longest tenure on defense since their return. Very efficient with 286 Tackles, 9.5 sacks, 1 INT, 4 forced fumbles, and a safety in 7 seasons DT '" Shaun Rogers - We all know he had a bad attitude, and avoided practice by using an ankle injury as an excuse, but he was a great tackle for the browns. Coming to the end of his career he was a dominant man in the middle on 3rd down and got the job done on the FG block team. Honorable Mention '" Ted Washington. DT - Ahtyba Rubin - Came into the starting NT position for Rogers, he also managed to break through double teams and show strong promise coming into the 2011 season, look for him to blossom at the DT position in the new 4-3 scheme. DE '" Robaire Smith - An absolute monster on the edge. His size and speed are mismatches for opposing defenses and had 88 tackles and 5 sacks in his browns career. OLB '" Willie McGinest - He came over to the Browns when Crenel was the head the HC. Unfortunately he was not a true Brown, he was a Patriot at heart. He did put up big numbers for the browns and helped seal the 10-6 record in 2007. ILB '" Scott Fujita - He didn't play the whole season but was dubbed Captain during training camp. He had an INT against Drew Brees in 2010 and had a huge influence on the 2010 Browns D. Without him the Browns went on a downward spiral and it showed how important Fujita was to the team. ILB '"D'Qwell Jackson - When healthy is a dominant force on the field. If he stays healthy he should thrive under the 4-3 defense, with a little more help on from the stronger line. OLB '" Kamerion Wimbley '" Played out of position in the 3-4, but put up some strong numbers. Continues to be a force in the league with the Oakland Raiders. CB '" Joe Haden - I mean, were you expecting anything else? With his 6 INT in 2010 and amazing speed, he has shown strong promise as a lock down corner. Many QB's were surprised when they tested to rookie. In the end he was a Rookie of the Year Nomine. He should continue his success with the updated DL and pass rushing. SS '" Sean Jones - Not known well and was very quiet in his time in Cleveland. He was very efficient and did his job on the field and kept his mouth shut off it. Honorable Mention '" Abe Elam FS '" T.J. Ward - I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to be hit by this guy. He has good speed and a lot of strength. His only two knocks would be his hands and inability to wrap up. But with 123 tackles, one forced fumble and two INTs in his rookie season, I'm not complaining. CB '" Eric Wright - Say what you want about his 2010 season but he has shown in his career that he is a solid DB. Besides that who was better? Brandon McDonald? No, when he gets the ball he is very dangerous. Some of his 2010 highlights would be against New Orleans. He had an INT at the end of the 1st half and a huge return from a Josh Cribbs' pitch. Honorable Mention '" Sheldon Brown K '" Phil Dawson - Well he is the ONLY player still in Cleveland since '99. He is also the Cleveland Browns all time leading scorer and passed up Lou "The Toe" Groza in FG made. He also received the franchise tag this offseason. P '" Dave Zastidul '" Could put that ball within the 5 yard line like no one's business. I don't really think there is a debate here. Honorable Mention '" Reggie Hodges. KR '" Josh Cribbs - Anyone? Considering he is the NFL's leading KR, he clearly finishes off this list. With his versatility, he can be used all over the field, but can take that ball to the "Cribb" any given Sunday. PR '" Josh Cribbs '" As a PR he isn't as successful but still, are you going to kick to him? 2 PR for TD's, he is not someone to mess with. Honorable Mention '" Dennis Northcutt. |
